Case Studies – St George’s Hospital, McEntee Ward
Background
Russell Cawberry approached Middlesex Flooring with a view to refurbishing the McEntee Ward at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, South London. The ward was looking tired and dated and was in urgent need of new flooring, painting and wall cladding to bring it up to scratch.
Approach
After the initial costing & product revisions, Mark Brown (MFL) attended site to ascertain the full extent of the works to be carried out. Vinyl tiles were uplifted and the floors made good so that MFL could install new sheet vinyl by Polyflor & Tarkett. The main corridor had a boarder which really added to the visual effect. Trovex wall cladding was also used in the patient private wards.
