Background
Reed’s School is an independent boarding school in Surrey and they were undergoing a 2 story extension to an existing part of the school. We first received an enquiry back in August 2019 when Life Build where at tender stage with 2 other builders. Life Build were relatively new to Middlesex Flooring so a great opportunity to start a relationship with a local builder. Due to Covid, the programme was put back a while

Approach
After the initial costing & product revisions, Craig & Chayne (MFL) attended site to meet the Life Build team and to ascertain the full extent of the flooring works. Once everything was agreed with the client, we started by latexing out the existing floor to make sure the subfloor was suitable to install a real mix of products. Vinyl flooring was installed with some design work to the first floor corridor. Entrance matting & carpet tiles where also installed to classrooms

The result
A real striking finish was achieved with the school really pleased and ready for the children to start back in September
